Food for Thought

While we (or i, for one) have been moaning over the more trivial things in our daily life, going about our daily routine, moaning about how the food sucks, how heavy our workload is, how we wish to have this and that, how little sleep we get ..

A girl died today. My age. A second year materials engineering student. She got hit by a lorry at the crossroads near my uni, where they've been conducting roadworks for the past year. Two days ago, they took down the traffic lights to reinstall new ones. A crossroad, with cars going straight, turning left and right .. with no traffic lights. She was on her motorbike when a lorry ploughed into her. She died on the way to a hospital.

Another life gone, just like that.
